Past Events 2016-2017

  • September 17 - KCKC for officers will be at Sebring High School 9:30am. You can bring a pair of jeans to donate and be awarded a service hour.

  • October 12 - Penny Harvest Weighers. This is self explanatory, meet at the office at 1:30pm to help. (This counts towards in club hours.)

  • ​October 15 - FallFest! We will be running a booth from 9am-3pm, not including set up and clean up. We will be having corn hole, a balloon pop game, and we will have a donation jar for UNICEF. For those interested in signing up, please get in contact with Noah.

  • October 17 - There is a social gathering at Cypress Lanes at 1:30pm. It will be $8 for people who come. Come and invite friends to get to know others in your club and to get to know your officers!

  • October 17 - Dues! Membership dues are tentatively due on this date. The cost is $25 (This includes shirt payment) and you must give it to Mrs. Chiampi. You will get the receipt and give it to either Noah Miller, our treasurer, or Mrs. Abercrombie.

  • October 19 - Penny Harvest Weighers. This is self explanatory, meet at the office at 1:30pm to help. (This counts towards in club hours.)

  • October 24 - Final day for food collection for Denison Middle School. We will be collecting individually wrapped snacks at the meeting. You will receive one hour per donation, up to three hours are given but we will not turn down more donations.

  • October 28 - Garden Grove FallFest from 9am-3pm. Those who come will be helping with booths and directing classes. Contact the Chairman Brooke Lashley at (863) 450-9811 if you'd like to volunteer or have any questions. (This counts towards in club hours.)

  • October 29 - We will be doing a soup kitchen from 2pm-5:30pm at the First Presbyterian Church in Winter Haven.

  • November 26 - We will be doing a soup kitchen from 2pm-5:30pm at the First Presbyterian Church in Winter Haven.

  • December 8 - Talent Show Auditions will be held to make sure the talents shown are appropriate for the show.

  • December 9 - We will be bell ringing for the Salvation Army at the South Gate Publix in Lakeland. The time for this will be announced once the time comes closer.

  • January 12 - The Talent Show is being held. For those without a Polk State ID, tickets will cost 2 dollars. There will be concessions so make sure you bring some cash!

  • January 28 - We will be participating in a pancake breakfast, serving people pancakes. There needs to be at a minimum of 10 people per shift, but would be prefered if there were more. The shifts will be from 6:30-8:30, 8:30-10:30, and 10:30-12:30 at the St. John's United Methodist Church. For signing up please contact our adviser Abercrombie or our president Gaby.
